Carrier 50PCV Aquazone Water Source Heat Pump are also know as a Geothermal Heat Pump System or Ground Source Heat Pump. This energy efficient WSHP system is a compact solution for new construction and retrofit applications.
All 50PC units have a unique floating basepan, the compressor is mounted on a heavy steel plate which rests on a high density rubber pad on the base of the unit. In addition, compressors are mounted on rubber grommets. This double isolation is standard in all 50PC units preventing vibration and noise transmission from the compressor to the unit structure, resulting in exceptionally quiet operation. Cabinets are fully insulated to reduce noise transmission, low speed blowers are used for quiet operation through reduced outlet air velocities, and air to refrigerant coils are designed for lower airflow coil face velocities.
